Fair Isle hat

Hi!
Here is one of my newest project - a hat with scandinavian patterns in black and blue colors.
I've found some realy great yarn. The palette of available colors is incredible! I want them all! And I have a lot of different projects in my mind to make with it.

So, here is a hat that I made with this yarn. It is 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. It is soft and warm. It can be a great gift as you know -  winter is coming! And it is better to have something like this hat to warm you up!

Who wants some Merlot?:)

Hi!
I remembered that I haven't show you my new shawl. Yes, this one.
So, here it is - red laced shawl in entrelac technique.
It was made with a blend of merino wool and tencel in one of my favorite color - Merlot.

As always - it is light and featherweight, though it is less laced than others.
It is pretty big and cozy :)

WIP: What it will be? ;)

Hi!
I've decided to show you not only the finished works but also some of them in the process. I have some really sweet feelings to photos with unfinished projects. It looks so cute when there is a needles and a hank of yarn near some knitted fabric, and it looks not really like it will be in a future after all blockings and washing... It's like some magic maybe. I don't know why but photos of such knitting process are always makes me feel good.
So today I want to share with you such photos of my next shawl.
I'm not going to tell you what pattern is it, I'll just show you a few photos :)

A few recent Treasuries

Dew Drops shawl

Hi!
Yesterday I've add a new item in my shop - Dew Drops shawl. Here it is on Ravelry

I love this pattern for it's simplicity! And actually I saw a drops of water in it even before I noticed the name of this pattern. It's perfect as for me!
I made it with a Valley Yarns Colrain Lace in a turquoise color, but on photo it looks like more blue.

This shawl is absolutely light, almost like a feather. I think it can be a great accessory to some elegant dress. But also it can look perfect with casual outfit.

Set of cotton coasters and doily

And while I'm here I think I should write about one more new item.
I just noticed a few days ago that I stop crochet somehow. All that I do is knitting. So I think my hands just was missing hook. And I decided to add some small crochet doily to my shop.
As it is Thanksgiving Day and Christmas soon, so I was looking for pattern that will add some cozy winter look to your house. And I choosed these coasters and a doily.

Get warm!

Hi guys!

I realy-realy was going to post these two cowls here for about a week! But I have no time at all :( Cause it's a little hard to write posts in blog with needles in arms :) But today I grabbed my coffee, open this blog and I will not took my needles in arms until I will post everything I should :)

So, about two new cowls. Here they are:
Let me tell a little about them.

And one more short story about new item in my shop.

A few days ago I also added a new item - Fair Isle mittens. It was my first work in this technique. I was so excited when I noticed that I can see the picture that should be on the mitten - it was incredible!
First one was going not so fast - about 1,5 day, but second one was finished in a day :)

They are made with 100% merino wool in dark and light blue colors and they'll fit women's size S hand.

Now when I finished it I want to do something in this technique again and again!

A big white piece of warm

Hi there!

A few days ago I finished white knitted scarf with cable across all lenght of the scarf.
I like it so much that I kind of sad that I live in California - it's not necessary here :)
This scarf made of baby soft 100% Acrylic yarn and it is quite light and airy, but at the same time it's warm and cozy.
This scarf is 7 inches wide and 75 inches long. A big piece of warm:)

Some ankle socks for you

Hi!

Today I want to step over the main theme of my shop - laced shawls - and show you my socks.

I decided to start knit socks only in August when I came from a vacation and saw that almost all knitters on Etsy was ready to autumn and some of them even to winter. So I decided that it can be good for me too, because I had a doubts that laced shawls will be popular in winter ;)

So I made two pairs of socks. For now. Actualy I made more pairs, but they were not so good, so I haven't decide yet what to do with them.

My first one laced shawl

Hi there!
Today I want to tell you about this shawl - Kiri.

It was my first big knitted project. At that time I was not actualy a knitter. All that I've knitted for that period was some socks and maybe some simplest scarf.
So when I saw these knitted laced shawls I was sure that I never-ever will be able to make such beautiful thing. So I was just looking at them in somebody's projects and was a jealous to that talent.

Crochet doily (bruges lace)

Hi!
I decided to start my posts from this doily.

Actualy, I don't remember when I started to crochet. I think I was about 10-12 years old. Interesting thing that any one of my family or friends can't crochet at all and I don't remember how I learned it. But I remember that when we had that "crochet lessons" at school I was already good in crochet and I was helping all my friends.
This doily I made this spring. I found that it has unusual form and geometric style so I can't pass it.

Oh, yes. It is a bruges lace - one of my favorite style of crochet lace ;)

And a photos of one more doily made in brugges lace. I love-love-love this one!

That's it! :)
